Paul Watson, GTSO's president and CEO, is a seasoned executive skilled in fund raising for startups, growth capital and pre-IPO financing in the U.S. and abroad. Mr. Watson's experience in business development made him the ideal candidate to spearhead GTSO's potentially lucrative tungsten mining initiatives.
Background
With impressive networking capabilities and a knack for closing lucrative deals, Paul Watson has amassed a stellar portfolio as a strategic advisor and entrepreneur. As a primary advisor at companies such as KPMG Corporate Finance, he executed deals ranging from $60-100 million for strategic and financial investors while based in China. His clients ranged from large multinationals such as Syngenta, Unilever and Intel to major private equity funds 3i, The Carlyle Group and Bain Capital. Mr. Watson went on to found Hermes Investment Group, a merchant bank serving clients in Asia and North America. Mr. Watson made several key decisions at these emerging companies that resulted in sustainable, long-term success.
Mr. Watson began his career working with technology start-up companies as an advisor to the Houston Technology Center, developing business plans and raising funds for entrepreneurs, scientists and small business owners. He continues to advise several boards and executive management teams to expand sales growth, global distribution channels and shareholder value.
